Our Nursery Team

At New Beginnings, we understand the importance of our Carers and have an experienced friendly and dedicated team. This is the main reason parents choose our Nursery. Our Nursery Manager is fully qualified and responsible for the day-to-day supervision. A record of your child's development during the day keeps you updated on their progress.

Your child's well-being comes first and we are always ready to comfort and console should there be any tears. Our love of children is paramount and most importantly we enjoy what we do.

We fully support staff/child ratios in line with the regulatory guidelines; these specify one member of staff to three children for under two's and one to four members of staff for two to four year olds. We believe in supporting our staff, encouraging training and development within health and safety qualifications, including first aid.

Here's what some of our staff have to say:

"I'd like to say we do our best to make it such a special place..." Sarah M
"The management team at New Beginnings are fantastic to work for, they are the most understanding and supportive people you could wish to work for. I feel a great loyalty towards them and it is a feeling that is shown towards all the staff at New Beginnings." Diane M
"Working at New Beginnings is lots of fun. The children get to explore a high variety of activities ranging from cooking to shaving foam play (which in my 5 years of working in nurseries I have never seen before). I work in the baby room, and I really enjoy getting to see the babies grow. The babies grow so quickly and everyday I come in they can do something new. I am very lucky to have a part in the children's development and growth and it's nice to hear the parents' thanks and praise."
"At New Beginnings it's like home from home, it's like working with a family. Ruth and Vicki, (the parents!) are always on hand to help and support us all. Being a small nursery we get to know all the children and build a lively relationship with them, which makes our children happy and secure."
"I really enjoy working at New Beginnings, the staff are friendly, enthusiastic and organised, Therefore providing a positive environment for the children a to learn and develop in.

My roles at New Beginnings are to encourage the children to progress and become independent to plan different activities such as painting, cooking, shaving foam, water and sand play, collaging, cornflour etc. We also go on lots of walks which nice for the children to learn about the world they live in which goes beyond the nursery on the walks they see many animals such as ducks, horses and vehicles such as cars, lorries, tractors and boats."
